Paper arist, and East Liberty resident, Erika Johnson, invites you to learn to make paper with simple household tools and create paper cirlces to take home and add to “uproot”. The installation piece, located in the lobby of KST, is a work-in-progress which will grow over the summer months through two free workshops, June 16 and August 21. Contribute to public art right here in the neighborhood!

Mundania Horvath, founder and writer for Steeltown Anthem ( a Pittsburgh art + design blog), curated the show and pulling together Pittsburgh best graphic designers and artists. Artists and designers will also have editions of their prints for sale as well.

Rock the Streets Summer Jam is an annual community event and concert that seeks to highlight Pittsburgh’s music, art, and activism while raising money for Community Human Services.
