This site is part of the land parcel for 5408-14 Penn Historic Townhouses.  The prior structures were demolished in 2001.  Currently, FDA is in the pre-development phase for five townhouse units.

FDA purchased the site in April of 2006.  We are currently holding the property while we work through a few different strategies for the site.

The Friendship Development Associates and our partners in Bloomfield and Garfield are working to address the blighted buildings along the Bride Mural at 5439-5441 Penn Avenue, “Bride Row.”  Currently, the FDA has been working with a committee of stakeholders to work through schematic design with local architects Loysen Kreuthmeier.
