FDA is a neighborhood based, professionally staffed, non-profit community development organization whose mission is to revitalize the Friendship area – a socially and economically diverse community – through strategic and responsible real estate development.
FDA works to improve the housing stock and provide high-quality affordable housing to low-to-moderate income households and engages to develop commercial buildings. FDA develops properties to encourage homeowner renovations, maintain economic diversity, eliminate blight and blighting influences, and to encourage public and private investment.
The FDA is a critical vehicle for the revitalization of Friendship – its staff are visionary, committed and creative, all valuable for building this community.
