Brunnera macrophylla 'Silver Heart' has thick, heart-shaped silver leaves with green veins and heavy substance making them relatively heat and humidity tolerant. Also known as Bugloss, or sometimes called False Forget-Me Not for its delicate blue flower sprays that bloom in late spring. The leaves of 'Silver Heart' continue to enlarge from spring through summer.
Prefers partial to full shade and consistently moist soil. It makes a nice perennial groundcover for moist, shady borders.
